The greenhouse is being reglazed a panel at a time. Aspen has relocated the orchids to the wellness level, where they are reportedly thriving out of spite.

Jules opened the newel post on the original staircase and found a folded note his grandmother left there, which he has not shown anyone and will not discuss. He did put the cap back on very carefully.

The dining room is closed on Tuesdays this month while the rug is out being cleaned. It comes back the colour it was supposed to be.

Everything else continues. The fire pit gets lit most evenings around nine, whether or not anyone planned it.
